Scouts Report for June 24th 12 AM:
Sir I regret to inform you that I have still not found what I have been seeking...yet I feel it getting closer. It may take several more expeditions to find such a thing. Perhaps if you increase my pay I shall have better luck on the next go around.
There are currently three (3) small garrisons in the town, all couples. Three of them to be exact. One is near the railroad tracks near the station, the other near the pump house, and the other should be near Cottage any minute now.
Be wary of the Cashmere bridge at night, the decorative lights the community have placed have become a boon to moths, and you shall be nearly devoured on sight upon passage by the "black swarm."
I am most pleased to inform you that I am no longer afoot in my missions, sir. While being horseless is my preferred method of travel, the capricious spirits of Keen Sight and Spending have infused my life with a new form of conveyance. Odious plumes and unsavory consumption shall no longer burden our land and darken our skies.
Redesigned and crafted two years after my own natality, it proudly lives up to its May astrological namesake. Its color is that of all colors, when gripped by enough momentum and given sufficient time.
There is one maiden who exudes a much more radiant shade of this color whom mine eye glimpsed attempting to...skateboard without Converse on?! Ahh, mired in gloom am I...to see such a confused world. But alas, not all is awry...for there is always my Skippers bird pencil to keep watch over me on these rather long warm nights...and my stuffed cow.
One last thing to mention before I take my leave of you. There is...another...skywalk...k..k..er..
No actually I was going to say The Shins seriously rock my world. I find myself finding all sorts of new reasons to drive to wenatchee or to run errands so I can listen to my new CD.
I did my admissions request today at the college, so I should be good to go with that. I fixed myself a really tasty salad today as well...man that was good. Had this nice little garnish...made myself proud, damn proud. I made a stop at Blockbuster to see if Harvest Moon was in, but some DUMMY stole the freakin game that I had been trying for 6 months to rent. I mean, I tried so hard to go for this nice, fair kiddy game to play where you can do fun things like grow corn and radishes (Happy! Yay! Happy!)and I end up having to walk out with Doom 3 to have some reasonably good fun for the next couple weeks. Where is the family in this people? Don't you care? At least in the other game I would use a chainsaw to cut down trees rather than smashing it in this animals face and listening to the gnashing on bones and FRESH MEAT!!!
Yay for swing sets.
