New things
I have to say I have been enjoying myself quite a bit lately. That play I went to last night was outstanding, FAR exceeded my expectations. I am very pleased with the people in it...and actually pretty surprised the orchestra did so well also. Thanks for the great show all.
On another note, I also went to solo and ensemble to perform our little ditty...and unfortunatly one of the 3 kids who uses this bari sax took my perfect new reed out of there I needed to play on and there were only 3 chipped up crappy reeds which I should have broken long ago. I am glad I did not break these reeds though as I ended up using a crappy reed in order to perform this song. With a chipped reed it is much more difficult to use vibrato, but i still just did my best. Listening to the rest of our group, I was pretty sure we we would end up in the 2+ range. Chelsea got harped pretty bad by the adjudicator, and our little run at part 8 was a little shabby. However, after the play yesterday Ernie came up to talk to me.
"Hey God, guess what?"
"What?"
"We got a 1 man"
Very satisfying to know our effort paid off.
I just got off the phone with my brother and I am going to be visiting him at Pullman for the 4 day weekend coming up here. I have not seen him since christmas and he will be in his new apartment, so that will be a lot of fun.
I got a call 5 mins ago also from Erin in the marines, pretty crazy stuff. I could hear the people yelling in the background, insane. I honestly don't know how people can do the marines, I can't take orders from anyone. Ya.
Finally, I only have 1 more vote left to take over kingdom monarchy on Utopia. I have some pretty nice changes for the KD planned so I am eagerly awaiting this last vote so I can take over. :)
