I can relate to that, having many recollections of wanting to know what some random supplemental feat does in Dungeons in Dragons only to end up with a character idea that I must spend several hours researching.
But I'm talking about something a bit worse than that. I think I had one meal and about 3-4 hours of sleep a day most of last week, so reluctant I was to return to the "real world". Though a few days were spent on one long, WHORISHLY teasing and angsty fic which was especially hard to "put down" as it were.
