the good luck continues

So it was actually a rather stressful week. I had midterms and needed to finish a couple scholarship applications among other things. So I'm frantically searching for some papers Friday morning (when the scholarship apps are due) for info I need for the apps. Sitting in plain sight in one of the open boxes in my room is my class ring. Now the odd part is I hadn't seen the ring for about a year when it went missing in Elaine's old apartment. I had gone through /all/ of those boxes over the course of the year but didn't find it. So it just popped back into existence I guess.

For those who don't recall I had lost it another time as well, back at the apartment John and I shared in Champaign. That time I know I had it in Champaign because I wore it often enough. It then inexplicably disappears for about a year and a half before rematerializing under my parent's couch cushions in Lake County. They found it when they went to clean out the couch, almost sucked it into the vacuum. I had searched all over for it, including their place and they had definitely cleaned the couch other times within that time frame. Weird huh? I should put some sort of tracker on it for the next time it disappears.

In other news I'm done with midterms, they all seem to have gone well. I'm a little too close to the 90% line in my computer security class, but I'll fix it don't worry. I'm not letting go of my 4.0. I've started taking an online humanities class on sci-fi, it's pretty cool. We're reading a book called Snow Crash which is really good cyberpunk. That and I can't help but drool a little at the computer tech being fantasized, really neat stuff.  I've also started playing World of Warcraft (yeah I know, someone should shoot me now). My other friend that plays it is rather jealous of how well it runs on my shiny new computer. Well, that's all for now, I should really go shower (yeah like you all wanted to know that).
