Pulled Pork. Forked pork??

I suppose there's a full semester of meals that won't get entered here, but I'll start with last week and one of my favorites.

$18 cut of pork loin, on sale for $6. About 3 pounds.
Trimmed as much fat as I could with kitchen shears, made a bit of a mess but considering that this'll all get shredded later it hardly matters.
Sliced 2 small onions into rings, separated and put in the bottom of the crock pot. Put the pork on top.

Cracked open a beer. This is related, I swear! Mixed half the beer with about 10oz. of barbecue sauce. Storebought, $2.50 or so. Drank the rest of the beer. This works almost no matter what kind of beer or BBQ sauce you use, I think. Poured the mix over the pork, put the top on, and put the crock pot in the fridge.

Next morning, put the crock pot on low. I had my flatmate turn the pork over when he got up (noonish). Shredded the pork with two forks when I got home around 5, let simmer for another hour, and served over mashed potatoes. Also good between bread!
