I am about to shock you all by being a total, total geek.

Well, just got a new antec case with antec 500w psu, to go with an
- gigabyte AGP 8x socket 939 motherboard
- Athlon 3500+. Venice core.
-1gig corsair DDR ram, in dual channel mode.
- A 250gb SATA II HD.

Into which goes an old
-Cd burner
-Dvd reader
-2x80g IDE hd's. Might raid them.
-Floppy drive
-AGP8x graphics card (radeon 9700 pro)
-SB live.

This case is sex.

-two blue led intake fans on the front through a pimp filter, one blowing on 3 hdd's.
-a red led intake on the side blowing onto the graphics card,
-a big 90mm quiet fan forcing air through a duct directly over the cpu (which of course, has its own fan)
- and a massive fuck off high speed exhaust fan at the top rear of the case

oh, did i mention
- the mb has its own system fan,
- the graphics card does to
- theres also 2 fans on the psu

This thing booting up sounds like the fucking enterprise. Awwwww yeeeaaah.

All of this prompted by the fact that all the NEW GEAR cost LESS than a gig of fucking "rambus"...which is all our old p4 would take.

I'm one happy boy right now.
