oh yes, an update on my massively fractured heels.
Well, i've been running around for a while.
But some mornings are so bad i have to use crutches.
Some days, too. They werent kidding when they said i wouldnt be playing footy for a while.
Well, i could, but chances are it'd hurt. Duhh.
I lost 14 kgs all up, down from a grand total of about 68, so i got pretty fucking skinny. I can reach all the way around my ankles with my thumb and pointer finger.
As it stands. you can play the drums all the way up and down my shins. Its just skin.
As it stands, i can still out-sprint any of my mates, ahahahah.
But yeah. Starting to be able to run for a while now.
I'm extremely wiry. I'm not used to it and i dont really like it.
Rock hard tendons/muscle, but just sweet stuff all of it.
I'm almost a freaking display model, you can see all the tendons in my knees and calves. its kind of cool.
Starting to put weight back on now. I can feel the muscle in my thighs coming back.
It scares you. When after being a avid racing bike rider for years. You put your hand on your leg and feel a distinct hollow the size of your fist on your thigh where you've always felt a bulging muscle.
To feel the same thing on your shoulder, when you go to massage a crink in your neck.
To look in the mirror, and notice your arms, have shrunk. you've got no definition.
To be fucking half english, and half welsh, the KING of white men (extremely pale)...and go paler. Ahahahah.
Kendal. you've been extremely supportive through all this. (She doesnt read my lj).
Its looking up but damn. For all my laughing....
Its been hard.
But yeah. Getting better. Oh yes, these holidays will be full of wet, cold merriment.
