Or some other cliche just waiting to spring out from some overly optimistic person that is tired of your bitching.
I've been really watching I've been eating lately. Cutting back on all Caffiene save for one small cup of black coffee in the morning, laying off potatoes and heavy bread. maybe a Tortilla every now and then for pizza, or to make a wrap, fresh fruit and veggies, lots of water.
I am starting to feel a little more energized, but at the same time I'm getting tired of all the stuff I'm eating. Its great for the first week or so, but then it just all gets blah. But its important to do this, we fill our bodies with all sorts of crap, and while I used to be a big believer in "I"ll eat what I want, because I want to enjoy it", the scales tipping at 190 on my narrow 5'11 frame told me that wasn't the best mantra to be chanting as I shoved that second double cheeseburger from BK down my throat.
So we shall see. I can cheat every now and then, and I'm not going to freak out about it, but I'm trying to save that for whenever I go out to eat with friends, or over to someones house, and not making demands on what they cook. Unfortunately though, with fresher food, it costs more, so less money to go out and eat with, haha.
I spent HOURS last nite trying to figure out why 75% of websites wouldn't open on my laptop yesterday. I did everything I could think of, even turned on my poor little underused desktop, but strangely it was doing the same thing. So I ran every conceivable program to figure out why, unplugged the router and back in, and nada.
Only to figure as I'm about to give up, that I had plugged up the DVR to the internet yesterday to get something off On Demand. When I unplugged it, everything worked fine. Seriously? Yes. At least that was it, and I don't have to try to repair the laptop, because really... Who has the time? So while I was angry at the time I'd wasted, I was pretty damn happy it wasn't anything worse.
