Just letting everyone know I'm still alive. XD Given what I posted here and the fact that I am not handling my mother's death very gracefully at all - I've had times when I've felt exactly like a three year old - I've signed myself up to see a psychiatrist. Everyone's situation is different, so we're all bound to handle them in different ways. I'm glad you've found someone who you think could help, if you think it'll help - feeling a connection with them is, I think, one of the most important things. The essay is a really good idea.
