Last week, I got the low coolant warning light on my dash. Over the weekend, I refilled the coolant - only to catch it dripping out of the engine come Monday, and again be greeting with the warning light. So now the car's at the dealership getting checked, but that's not really the point of the story.
The point is that when I called in to schedule the appointment, I gave my name and was recognized by the service staff. (At least it was by name, not voice.) I asked them if I should take it as a bad sign that they knew who I was - and he basically said "yes" and started laughing at the question.
He was still laughing about it when I dropped the car off.
So... am I justified in being paranoid?
