I'll be flying down to Orlando on Saturday. (And honestly? I could sure use a break from the weather up here. Stupid ice.) I'll be flying back on Friday (just in time for jury duty. Joy. Rapture.) Anyway, we'll of course be doing the requisite Disney stuff while down there, but that does leave several days of time unaccounted for.
So, from those of you more knowledgable about the Orlando area than I am, and those of you who were recent visitors: What else should I make a point to go see and do?
I'm led to believe that there's a medieval dinner theater nearby, where we would get to watch jousting while eating, but the only thing that I know about it is that it exists.
I've also considered a trip to see the Coral Castle (for reasons possibly known to other ex-Stone players), but that looks to be a four hour drive south, past Miami, so a little bit out of our way.
Other thoughts?
Update:
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. It looks like I'll actually get to spend more time at Disney than I originally thought, but I'll still have some unaccounted for time. Right now I'm thinking Kennedy Space Center/Cocoa Beach for a day trip.
I've also noticed that Flogging Molly will have a concert at the Orlando House of Blues next week, so I'll make a point and try to go to it.
