So, I don't normally like to talk politics here, but this is too good not to comment on. Over the past several... well, months, honestly, we've been getting fliers for the various candidates for various positions. (Ah, the glories of being in the swing state that McCain has declared "must win")
Anyway, we've not escaped the advertising, which recently took a turn towards the bizarre. I started getting anti-Obama ads all about how he has inconsistent stances on Israel and the like. It's got some choice phrases - "Obama should know Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, not just on Wednesdays."
These ads are paid for not by the McCain campaign, but by the "National Women's Committee of the Republican Jewish Coalition."
Talk about totally missing your target demographic. And I'm at a total loss for how they got my address.
