Sep 26, 2007 00:18

1st.
I/we/you/they - drive/work/do ect.
he/she/it - drives/works/does ect.

Remember that we say: he/she/it - s. Don't forget the s
I work... but He works...
NB: Nouns and verbs + -s/-es
The ending is -es when the word ends in -s/-ss/-sh/-ch/-x
wash/washes; bus/buses
Note also:
potato/potatoes; tomato/tomatoes; do/does; go/goes

2nd.
We use the present simple to talk about things in general. We are not thinking only about now. We use it to say that something happens all the time or repeatedly, or that something is true in general.
Ex: The earth goes round the sun.

3rd.
We use do/does to make questions and negative sentences:

do I/we/you/they work? I/we/you/they don't work.
does he/she/it come? he/she/it doesn't come.

4th.
We use the present simple when we say how often we do things:
Ex: I get up at 8 o'clock every morning (Not "I'm getting")
(c)Raymond Murphy

Understand, I hope?))
По-русски нужно?

upd: Практически задания позже, спать хочу..
