so my roomate tried to off herself.....she od'ed on nyquill, dayquill, and some pain killers. she's in a hospital...padre behavioral. i think she did it over her boyfriend and that fact that she could not handle being on her own. she still needs more guidance. its like freud says....you can't progress from stage of life until you complete the former.
she still needs to grow up and realize that the world is a cruel place and if you're not strong enough it will eat you and spit you back out. this is something i wrote way before this happened....

Cruel World

Say goodbye to this cruel world,
A world that doesn't care.
Say goodbye to those cruel eyes
Those who watch and stare.
Say goodbye to all the faces,
To those who constantly watch.
Say goodbye to those who laugh
For they laugh at your cost.
This cruel world and those cruel eyes,
The faces and the laughs,
They never cease--never stop
Never seem to lack.
So go ahead and end your life,
End it here and now.
The laughing wil continue until the day you die.
Put the knife to your wrist,
And please try not to cry.
Slip the noos around your neck,
Tie the knot and double check;
make it nice and tight.
Everything will be alright.
Everything is fine.
Fill the bathtub full of water
And let yourself be drowned.
Let the water take you,
Beneath it you'll hear no sound.
Open a bottle of those pills,
Take a few too many.
You'll fall asleep safe and sound,
Along with the alcohol you've downed.
Death lurks in every corner, behind every door.
Death is the cruel world and those cruel eyes,
The incessant faces and laughing
They only seem to stop;
When he has your soul right in his grasp,
And your heart no longer beats, no longer loves.
And not a breath left in your body.
Only then will the world stop.
The eyes cease.
The faces cease.
And the laughing cease....
Everything will be alright.
Everything is fine
