Lyta thought she had done fairly well for herself that day, making sure she had even had healthy breakfast and a healthy lunch out of the refrigerator she handwavily bought last week. After most of the afternoon climbing down stairs, Hamlet's finally made it down to the third floor. When you're small, being on the sixth floor of a dormitory is not the best way to go on adventures. He stops to catch his breath as a oddly-dressed girl walk out of one of the rooms.

He tilts his head at her. "You're dressing funny."

"I am not! I'm dressed like a superhero. I am a super hero," she replied haughtily, implying that a mere mortal such as himself wouldn't have the first clue what a real hero looked like. There might have been a stamped foot in there somewhere, too.

"Nu-uh," Lyta said. "Silver Specter wore pannyhose an' a dress. Sometimes she even got to wear pants! Mommy said it showed she was all innepenant and stuff. She didn't have to wait for her boyfriend to save her."
