Right when I thought it was safe to start telling friends about my emotions, feelings, thoughts and beliefs, I find that all I'm doing is giving them ammunition for their gossip-spreading ways. In the end I guess I learned a very important lesson - if a person gossips to you about other people, what do you think they gossip about when you're not around? It kind of sucks to think that I put myself in this vulnerable situation by finally opening up emotionally to my "friends". Its hard to say good-bye to so many people that i thought were great, but i guess its time to be selfish and worry about my well-being.
