Well despite spending nearly 20 hours on cramped, sweaty National Express coaches I have had a rather splendid couple of days.

Went down to London to see Helloween and what was supposed to be support from Primal Fear (very good) turned out to be this random ogther power metal band called Power Quest, never heard of them, and they started off ok, good musically, singer wearing an awful shirt and awful awful silver spandex trousers however I have no idea how many songs they played as they all sounded pretty much exactly the same. It's possible that if I knew the songs before hand I would be able to distinguish between them better but unfortunately this didnt happen. Very boring samey band. The upside of these folk was some stupid kids decided to start a moshpit, so when they threw each other (in a terribly vicious way :P) into me it gave me an excuse to bash some skulls. And I can't punch for shit, but I made them cry, so this made me happy.

After they finished I took some time to survey the venue. The KOKO is a smaller but infinitely taller and more slutty version of the Manchester Apollo. Lots of red lighting and nekkid red gods as columns. It's all good. Also the biggest disco ball ever resides in the ceiling ready to instill boogeying and fear into the hearts and minds of the most anti-disco-moose.

Then the fantastically amazingly great Helloween took to the stage and played oh so many fantasticly great metal choons. Keeper of the seven keys was rather spectacular and I orgasmed out of more orrifices that actually exist when they played Mr Torture followed straight by If I Could Fly. Took videos of both of those but it was so loud that it bollocked up the mic on the camera but its still fantastic. The drummer also did a mini guitar solo, not a short guitar solo, but a solo with a tiny guitar, sounded fantastic and was most amusing. Other guitarist did guitar solos with his mouth because he was feeling lazy. Fantastic band, a lot of fun and would love to see them yet again.

Next gig is Clawfinger on 28th of this month. Should be great.

I finally got Philip Pullman - Amber Spyglass in the cover that I wanted it in, I have the other 2 in the nice cover but couldnt ever find the third. Found it in Borders in Fulham after some nice sammich eatings was done. I also bought William Gibsons Neuromancer and the K-Pax trilogy. Emma has got me wanting to read a book called House of Leaves but its £15 at its cheapest and its only a paperback. So willg et it next month. Wanted to go to camden but didnt have time because Emmas bf decided not to tell his housemates that we were there before he left for college in the morning so door was locked, no spare keys etc. I ended up having to unscrew bits of the window so it would open. Grrrr. If i got angry about stuff that would probably have been an angry moment.

I need to put more things on my walls like my guitars and giger pictures to get them out of the way and my room will be finished.

I had a job interview the other day for Management Information Analyst position in garlands, don't think I got it but i can hope damnit! 3K more a year if I do get it though. Wish me post-luck.
Bad things seem to be happening on the floor, my team hasd been evicted from their pod again because trainees need the pod we were using DAMN THEM. It's very agitated on the floor, new management and the suchlike and it's horrible and tense, Pleh.

In other news ian destroyed us all in a game of dnd boardgame but i destroyed everyone else in the simpsons game because i turned into a mutant slug. TAKE THAT

Bye bye darlinks
