That was awesome. Really. If someone asked me what Survivor is all about (or at least should be about), I'd point 'em right at last night's episode. Lots of strategizing, double crosses, and a few people completely surprised. What's not to love?
Things I particularly enjoyed:
1) That the Earl Alliance won. And that they earned it by completely outwitting and outplaying the other side.
2) That Cassandra proved that she's deliberately flying under the radar, but really knows what's up. She didn't miss a question on where her tribemates stand, and took just the right people to enjoy the reward.
3) How fascinating the reward challenge was, especially in terms of revealing dynamics we never see. How obnoxious must Stacey and Boo be?
4) That Yau-man continues to be the most unlikely challenge monster ever. I adore him.
5) That misogyny is its own reward.
6) The expressions at tribal council. Priceless.
It still doesn't make up for seeing what happened to Anthony, but that was some seriously engaging television.
