A large number of men I have dated wear skirts (not just kilts) and identified as male, and straight. My husband, for one, has inherited MANY of my skirts. He also owns 3 kilts. He also owns a shirt that says "it's a KILT -- if I wore underwear, THEN it would be a skirt!"

Because he also wears skirts. He recently got one from his own mom -- she didn't want it anymore, she was cleaning out her closet, but it looks good on him, so now it's his skirt. But I'm not sure we've ever purchased one *for* him specifically, other than the kilts (perhaps we should!)

Anyway. Andy has always worn skirts, since before I knew him -- so well over a decade at this point. He used to have long hair, before he started balding (now he's got the amazing beard and regularly covers it with glitter). I've had gay friends insist to me that my husband *must* be gay (and he's considered it, but he's not attracted to men).

If I had a type, and I mostly do not, it would be men who are comfortable wearing or doing stereotypically feminine things because they enjoy those things. (today is not the day to unpack Mink's bisexuality, which exists, but is complicated.)

Your parents both sound awesome, but I relate to your dad a bit more. :-) I'm much more of the "I'ma fight anyone who gives you shit for being you" sort of person. <3

Thanks for the feedback, Mink! I know this is more normal than it feels, some days.
