Rita....
Well now.... So yeah. I'm sure you guys have all heard of this hurricane "Rita" in the Gulf of Mexico heading towards Houston. Well yeah... I happen to be one of those lucky civis living in said city... I can't say in all honesty that I think nothing is going to happen here in Houston. I know Galveston is gonna be wiped out for sure.... I hope they make it out before it hits. Houston will recieve minor water surge or storm surge, whatever you wanna call it... The rest will be heavy rain and winds. All Houstonians have to worry about is getting flattened by the storm. Galvestonians have everything to worry for... I feel sorry for them... Sorry for that... Damn. I just remembered I had a friend move over to Galveston a few weeks ago. I hope she makes it out fine......
As for me and the rest of my family and relatives, we're probably heading towards Dallas tonight. We were thinking San Antonio but they say it's going to hit there too. not as much as down here, of course. I don't know what the rest of my friends are going to do but I hope they don't stay here.
Chances are that this is all one big exaggeration because of Katrina but why risk it, right?
I wish the rest of my fellow Houstonians and Galvestonians good luck and God bless... We'll need it.
