So, I have now been in Finland for a whole year! Feels weird, I still really miss London and find this place strange.
In London I lived in Zone 1, in Islington. Night buses, shops, the tube, everything was next door. I loved living so central to everything. I had some dodgy neighbors, a murder and lots of chavs in my building. It had character.
Here I live in a bohemian part of town called Pispala. It is a short distance from the center, but still not too close to shops. The night bus situation is pretty pathetic, as nothing goes between 2AM and 4AM, ever... Tons of hippies live in this area, lots of people with dreadlocks, and the small building where my flat and 7 others are is full of young single men (and me). There is one punk club very near, which is a huge bonus.
So here are a few pics of where I have been living for the past year.

Autumn/Winter
Me moving in October. I lived with my parents for a few months before my current flat became available. Ruffe was still alive :(
