Sadness...
As the most intelligent lifeforms in the known universe, with the most complex organism in the universe nestled within our skull, the Human race is by far a disappointment. Looking at the majority of the population on this planet, I am saddened. As intelligent as humans are, contrary to what your eyes mught tell you, we are the only specie on the planet to wage war on other nations, commit genocide and descimate an entire population, kill our loved ones in the blink of an eye, torture in the most inhumane and brutal ways, and so much more. Whether you shoot someone point blank or cheat on someone, as a person, you still suck. There are many levels to what I say, but all of this is on a completely different level compared to the good that we are capable of doing. So why is it that there is so much pain and destruction in the world? I dare someone to tell em that it's all a part of life. If that is so, then why haven't the animals turned on us? Even something as simple as putting someone down, or trying to make someone feel stupid is mean and cruel. It can never compare to taking someone's life, but people don't notice that they might be doing more bad on a daily basis than good. We all assume and tell ourselves that we are good people, but have you ever stopped and noticed any of the good things you do through out the day? How many times to you open a door for someone? How many times do you smile at someone and say thank you? How often do you say thank you at all? I don't pretend to be a saint. I know that even a cartain someone, reading this entry, thinks I am a complete moron, an idiot, or whatever, but hey, at least I know I am a good person. So the next time you have a bit of free time, do something that benefits someone other than you. Believe me, it might just be better for your soul.
