pondering: It calls to mind either some you-can-do-it rawk/alt band that would either be awesome - like Hoobastank meets Miyavi meets OneRepublic [notreallyhappy] meets One OK Rock [no comment on my taste in music, thnx]; some weird alternative thing along the same vein as Mars Volta (but without the, er, ancient evil ouiji board influence) meets E S Posthumus, or, much more likely - a really, really bad up-beat rock band, like a cross between Bouncing Souls and Apollo Sunshine @o@ -!!?
Or it sounds related to coming out of the closet. But that theme alone isn't enough to make a good alt or rock song, much less a whole album.
