Spring break should be longer....
random synopsis
Drove home with Sam and P. Contrary to popular belief i was not afraid for my life........much.... Much talking much fun. They live amazingly close it's funny i probably walked past them a million times, was talking about something similar with kev.
We were people watching out of slight boredom and he was saying how he wonders about all those peoples lives... Sometimes i wonder when i meet people how many times i've walked right past them without noticing. I'm a firm believer that people are in your life for a reason...if they're there for 20 minutes or 20 years. Kind of makes you wonder who you're just walking past maybe everyday, who you're missing out on.
Trying to finagle a way to get sam on staff and into our apt this summer. We're going to be amazingly functional: microwave, coffee pot, rice cooker, new pots and pans dvd players tv's our place is gonna be hooked up :o)
Spent a wonderful day in the city w/ my mommy, saw "i love you you're perfect now change" uber funny. Bought tulips, swung on swings all dressed up for the show i never felt like such a grown up and such a little kid at the same time...multiple trips to starbucks...an amazing resturant..a truly perfect day.
Next: Road trip to ithaca...among the highlights of this were dans decrepit car,
pink mystery mush "this looks like reject nougut,"
a vending machine for live bait,
a deserted rest stop very 28 days later ish,
and the most god awful coffee i've ever had.
I was honestly not too impressed with cornell till we walked to where the concert was (Guster) and i got a load of the bigger buildings...they really are beautiful but i got a sense if i went to a school that big i just would have been lost there...not lost like i need a map lost but lost like it's too easy to fade into the background lost. I like my little school man. Concert was good sans opening act...who to his credit must have guzzled 80ounces of boiling hot coffee and bit his tounge sixty times to mumble that much...it's odd cuz i realized he sang a song in shrek and by God that song has WORDS! Realized how much i miss evie sometimes...spent time playing halo there...was like home. Also realized if i were an RA there i'd have been quite busy. hehe...dude they don't have an escourting rule
"You mean i can just WALK AWAY???" oh and automatic hand dryers that *actually* dry your hands.
Spent some days bummin... being "productive"

Yay for simultaneous boredom! randomly went to the city yesterday to hang out with kev. Wandered. Shopped. Movieage. Began coveting the my new discman
. Really spent a ridiculous amount of time in virgin megastore. lol...and i walk out with books?
There was something in toys r us i was going to quote kev for but sadly i've forgotten it...i have the sneaking suspicion it was ghetto...and thats why it's funny. Another fun day.
Tomorrow will bring, finally seeing george after his year in iraq then journeyage up to CT to see my baby for the weekend. Sunday's kerry's gig which will be fun...
For those of you who know KARL this tuesday he'll be on the PRICES RIGHT!!!!!!!
