So Occupy Wall Street is being shoved out of their tents. Not off the street permanently, but out of habitation. So December 6th OWS moves on to Occupy Our Homes -- basically, they'll begin habitation in the empty foreclosed homes...
This will be interesting. If they can find them -- we know there are entire areas of empty homes that could be turned into actual thriving communities. Could work. However, if the OWS people just take over one random house and shit in the bathtub because there's no running water, it won't work.

Siri is not stopping people from finding Planned Parenthood clinics. Siri is a mix of algorithms and programming (wolfram alpha) that is brand spanking new, barely understood, unrefined by anyone other than the original programming team (remember: 75% computer scientists are male), and very much still in the development stage. Voicing concerns at this point is helpful. Mass outrage to the point of paranoia only reveals you have no understanding of how the gadget in you hands actually works at all.

I don't understand why the same people, who don't trust government spending, are also the first to accept the supposed "clean-up/policing costs" after any Occupy protest site has been cleared. Remember when Scott Walker claimed the damages done to the Wisconsin state capital building were in "the millions"? Also note: clean-up would not have been so much a problem if the protesters had left on their own design.

I'm starting to think the newly mutated radical right-wing is not so much anti-government, or anti-liberal, or anti-poor, or anti-gay, or anti-any one thing. They are simply anti-EVERYTHING, because they are projecting their personality on the rest of humanity to the point of being paranoid. They believe in nothing, unless what they hear confirms their fears and hatred. There is no double standard -- because there is no standard. If it reeks of condemnation of their own society, giving them reason to never forgive or empathize with their society, they eat it up.
