Illusions

I finished Illusions today. It is a really good book, not my typical type, but neither was Johnathan Livingston Seagull, I am pretty sure I like Illusions better.

Now I didn't read it all in one go. . . it was mostly just in trip to the bathroom, but I am pretty sure I got the message, and one quote at the end, from the Messiah's handbook, really got to me.

The full quote is " The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly"

Man. . . that really got to me. That whole quote, but especially the second part. My mind just keeps going over that line. So many quotes in Illusions from the Messiahs hand book were good, and amazing, but that was the one I need at this moment, and I think a lot of people need.

So I am going to try to be more like the master and less like the caterpillar . . cause everyone knows all these years I have been scared to be in that cocoon.
