SO.
Our power went out at 11:30pm on Friday night, September 12th. It is now Wednesday, September 17th. We still have no power. No land line. Our cellphones work...SOMETIMES. I totally understand that there are so many people in need of help right now, but it just sucks to have no power. We have stayed with my parents for the majority of the time. They have power, nice comfy guest bed and delicious food. But, it's not my home. We are going home tonight because I think I might have to work tomorrow. Work has also been out with no power.
Ike was scary though...our house rattled a lot and lost shingles. Fatty threw up she got so scared. At one point I couldn't see outside at all. But, it's over and our neighborhood is pretty messed up. It'll get bettter.
