Socialism is an outright cancer to the ideals of America.
I don't care who or what you quote.
Capitalism is the only system that works, it is a beautiful example of humanity. There is nothing wrong with exploitation, as everyone has an equal opprotunity to thrive. In a socialistic society there is no motive to do the best for yourself, and when you do the best for yourself you do the best for your nation.
Collectivism is bullshit, there is nothing worse than the idea of working for a society. No intelligent and independent man would work for the means of a collective. Rugged indivdualism is the basis of America, Socialism goes against everything it was founded upon.
Are you fucking kidding me? Get out of here with this "down-to-earth" bullshit. The real world is corporate, the real money-makers are the real powers to be.
I've ventured far beyond the local cities. I don't care about the poor, they deserve their position of poverty.
Wake up, nobody gives a fuck about the Collective.
Any socialist system is nothing but a dream, nobody with any sense of independence wants it. Why don't you get your head out of your ass and realize that?
there is a huge sense of independence on the anti-capitalist side of the fourth world war. and the only thing that the poor have done to deserve their position of poverty is to believe in what the ruling class tells them about capitalism being a system where anyone can make it, and not take up arms against their oppressors.
America, is a cancer to our madre terra. you perhaps should remove head out of the ass of ITS ass. anyone with any sense of independence and some intelligence recognizes that American Hegemony over the world is a threat to that independence, and want nothing to do with it. "Basically, (globalization) won't stop until foreigners finally start to think like Americans, act like Americans and - most of all - shop like Americans." -A top U.S. WTO official does that sound like self-determination? i think not. does that sound like oppression and explotation? absolutely.
America is superior to every nation on the face of this earth, perhaps any other country should try to stand against it eh? America is on top because it is it the best.
Fuck the world, America IS the world!
Any American who really gives a fuck about exploiting poor nations, is no American.
Who said we're American? Sure some are, and plenty aren't. Again, your arguement has no merit behind it, at all. And if there was truth in your claim that being an American means your a cruel bastards with no heart (which isn't true, many American care about much more than themselves), then we wouldn't want to be American. Hell, WE DON'T WANT TO BE AMERICAN ANYWAYS. We're anarchists.
This bleeding heart bullshit is pathetic. Believing in self-advancement and independence is far from being a cruel bastard with no heart. Those who work hard in a Capitalistic system are rewarded. Those who do not work hard, get what they deserve.
That's not really how it works. Those already with money are rewarded. And you have no real argument, and you have very little facts to prove that its those who don't get rewarded are the ones who suffer, or that the ones that work hard are the ones rewarded. And we have hundreds of years of historical evidence to prove us right.
I have the entire of recorded history to back me up.
People who are motivated succeed, and the only true and free economic system that will support this is Captialism.
Those already with money, earned said money. The richest of today will not be rich forever, the upper class is dead money, the middle class is the future.
Why should everyone be rewarded simply on the basis of living? Perhaps one man will have the fortune of being born into wealth?
It is an UTTER injustice to level the playing field.
Those who are bright enough, those who are determined enough, will succeed. Rags to riches, motherfucker. It's the American way.
so a kid going to that really exspensive college driving an SUV that his parents bought for him, who doesn't have to worry about money because his parents have set up all sorts of trust funds for him, has EARNED that money? and his parents were in a similar situation back in the day when their parents paid their way through life? we think not. the middle class has always been boring and mediocre at best, but now its dying. we believe we made the case for that somewhere else in these posts, but we could be mistaken. one of our friends who is concerned with community outreach has spoken to plenty of non-anarchists who see it to, mostly mid-twenties to mid-thirties, from all ranges of the politcal spectrum. left, right, post-left, neocon. and almost all of them, including right-wingers, agree that it is happening when he makes his points. tho those with more money often don't care as much that its happening. rags to riches used to work occasionally, and still does but on a more rare basis. you've made it obvious you don't have a broad enough knowledge spectrum to validate your arguements, so go read alot more, look at situations in other countries from newsources that aren't American Corporate Media, and then come try to argue. we mean, if you do that and then still believe what you do than good for you! you'll now have a much better way to back yourself up. hell we read new things and question ourselfs to make sure we're doing what we believe is "right" all the time, and haven't changed our minds yet not that you'll do that because you take our advice your spoon-fed "safe" world, and don't want to acknowledge that its going to.
In so much as he earned it through the sweat and toil of his parents, YES. You inherit your parents genes and disposition, you might as well inherit their money.
What the hell are you talking about?
All you're saying is I'm unsubstantiated and ignoring my points, that's true debating.
we're saying your points are unsubstantiated, not ignoring them. you basically ignored our points. as we said, until you broaden your horizons, we're gonna let you fume in your ignorance.
not everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive, and EVERYTHING is wrong with exploitation. explotation destroys lives, not just of human but of all living things (the enviroment included!). you capitalist economic textbook arguement of there being not motive to do your best is weak at best. history shows that its not the innovative hard working people who get ahead, its goes more like "What if we sell them the land and then steal it back?" or "Let's just dump this waste in the river" or "If we work them 18 hours a day they'll be too exhausted to resist" and "Surely these 'savages' don't need their [land, freedom, rights, etc.]." Of course, you could always argue that sweatshops, slavery, child labor, lying, fucking over people, paying off government officials to overlook enviromental regulartions...are all innovations...but they're innovations in EXPLOITATION. ANYONE who believes "there is nothing wrong with exploitation" has their heads suck so far up their own ass they'd have have to eat their own heart to survive, and started critical parts of their brain.
its only a "dog eat dog" world because its engineered to appear that way by the ruling class so that they can maintain a controlable chaos you have no arguement for the enviroment facing worse things than man, because everything that has occured before man has always been natural disasters, and not controllable. while human destruction of the enviroment isn't so much a threat to the enviroment, because the enviroment repairs its wounds. it is a threat to the survival of humanity (not to mention countless of other species). we're not socialists, tho are believes have elements of socialism to them. we're anarchists, and all sorts of different anarchists with all sorts of views. anarcho-syndicalism, which is related to socialism, has historically worked and only by military might has it been put down.
we don't exactly see how being individuals who believe in self-determination and the abolition of hiearchy (perhaps, the purest form of the ideals what your beloved America was formed on) makes us "utter tools." it would appear those who don't question the authority of their homeland would more be tools of said homeland, wouldn't it now? but, we're not going to point fingers. after all insults make terrible arguements.
