Teddy Roosevelt's wife and mother died on the same day and being soaked in depression he ran out west and pretended to be a cowboy for a few years. Nobody took him seriously. He acted and dressed like an idiot. He came back eventually and they gave him the vice presidency so they could get him out of their hair. He got lucky and the president was shot. Then when in office, he shaped up his act and managed to be an O.K. progressive president. And the Rough Riders were a joke. Everybody knows that.

But the dude was delusional. That's all.

TR was the man, you have no idea what you are talking about. TR while giving a speech was shot and continued his speech. Upon finishing his speech he simply stated "Excuse me, I've been shot." FDR was a faggot liberal who started the downfall of our country with the idea of government handouts. From that time on, it was not, "what can i do for my country" it was "my country owes me something" - And thats bullshit. He ruined the attitude of our country and essentially started the downfall. TR on the other hand exerted American power in the Western Hemisphere, beat the piss out of who ever questioned it, and wasted the Spanish. FDR only entered WW II because he HAD to, he had no other choice. He didnt win the war, America did. FDR was probably the country's first ever liberal hippie douche and TR was probably one of the last REAL American presidents. ~ KAC

Fill a room full of intellectuals, give them America's budget to play with, and a rubber stamp'd congress and think you'll actually solve anything.

FDR extended the depression, and kicked the face of big business in a time when it needed a boost most, in order to throw around a mish-mash of experimental programs that were hit or miss and at best definite wastes of tax-dollars.

The Great Depression was great because of Liberals, not saved from it by Liberals.
