I love big band music, and swing. It's just so beautiful and free.
Today's Jazz is pure shit, fucking commercialized crap for yuppies.
What-ever happened to pride in the ghetto, whatever happened to pride in general.
Whatever happened to the soul and spirit of the Harlem Renaissance. Shit, today's pop music, especially rap and hip-hop have strayed so far from the dirty beauty of that! Even the most soulful rap has nothing on swing and jazz, and blues for that matter. There's so much life in this world, and so much bullshit.
I'm sick of marketing, my mind is not a space for a billboard. I want to rip down every ad I ever saw, I don't have room in my mind for that shit. I'm not a number, I'm not a target audience, I'm a fucking human being. The whole world is becoming a Mall of America.
Where the fuck is the bad part of town? Where is the fun in this town? Is there anything better to do than get fucked up? Is there anyone worth spending my time with? What the fuck.
