(no subject)
i just watched Ring on channel 4... the original japanese version... and i'm a little disturbed... not because it scared me but because it didn't scare me as much as i thought it would/should have... the concept of it is strange and the film itself is shot in a surreal manner but it didn't really frighten me... the only bits i viewed with one half of my face hidden behind my duvet cover is when Sadako crawls out of the television but I had seen that clip before so it didn't freak me out that much...
maybe i didn't understand it or maybe i've heard too many bad things about it for it to have the desired effect on me... but now i am disturbed and confused... perhaps i'm supposed to be... maybe that's why this entry is full of dot dot dots...
