so so much. easter wasn't so bad. i got some money and my mom made some good food. i was very impressed. i hung out with my cousin Phil all day. He's a really cool kid. he's from Long Island, a year younger than me, but he's a senior. He's really talented. He plays guitar and draws and is just a really nice, quiet, interesting, open-minded guy. We look nothing alike. he's really tall and thin, like 6'2. He gave me one of those cocktail umbrellas before he left. that was cool. Someday we're gonna make music together. I know it.
Lets see. I went to wolfe's pond three days in a row. Thursday - Saturday. Saturday I went with Dave and Jeff. The ol' trio. It was really fun. Then we went out to eat and then back to Dave's new house. Man o man, he's got it all there. Pool table, two giant flat screen tvs, all the video games you could want. I'm not saying his family is shallow and materialistic - but they got some cool shit. It was good to see his dad again. he really likes it when us three are together. We said "we're back" and it was great.
Friday was a very good day. I went to Wolfe's Pond with Courtney. I'm not sure if she'll be reading this...hmm. anyway, we had a lot of fun. lots of flirting. it was so funny how much she complained about crossing a little stream and how easy it really was. I think she just likes the attention...it works i suppose. hehe, well, it ended kind of awkwardly. we really should have kissed, but we didn't. but we will.
That night was the Le Tigre show. that certainly was an experience. I had a ton of fun. It seemed like the odds were against me...(i made this stupid mistake and took my ticket receipt which looks exactly like a fucking ticket!) i left the real one at home. so i couldn't get away with it and had to pay again. that kinda sucked, but it's no big deal. Despite being a straight guy in a mostly gay female environment I didn't feel out of place (too much). nah, i was comfortable. one annoying thing was these two drunk women behind me who kept bumping into me, but they eventually went away. The first band was some weird all girl trio called W.I.T. I don't know what the hell it was. they lip-synced their whole set, which was like 4 songs. They were just dressed scantily and they were attractive, but i felt bad for them. the music was semi-catchy though.
The second band was called the Plantains. I was the only one who really liked them. They were two guys who pretended to be British and played new wave synth-pop. They were so into their little identities and the music was catchy and fun and I really liked it. I can't find anything from them on audiogalaxy though.
There were two very attractive blondes in front of me making out very passionately during one portion. It was amazing. I'm not even saying that from a stupid "yeah, lesbians are cool" point of view. It was truly beautiful. They looked so good together and they were so intimate. I felt lonely and well...um aroused so to speak. It turned out they had just met that night. thats crazy. they were touching each other faces and kissing so tenderly. oh my. anyway....
Le Tigre had a really good set. They played just about every song I knew and the ones I didn't know were all good. Kathleen Hanna is sooo pretty. I really admire the fact that they try to change things and don't just bitch. I know I would never really do anything that strong.
I had so much fun with Lori. It was a really good time. Natalie and Bari were cool to be around too. It was a very nice group. On the way home that Olga girl accompanied us. She's really annoying and unattractive, but i guess she means well. so what are ya gonna do. I'll probably never have to see her again anyway.
I got home around 2:45 so i decided not to even bother with the track meet the next day. I hope i didn't inconvenience anyone or get any relays cancelled. I hope i don't get in trouble either. Tuesday's meet I will probably show up hungover. I really want to get drunk tomorrow. That should be fun. My uncle gave me a disposable camera today, I think i'll use that instead of the digital camera tomorrow night, thats much more smart.
i wonder how everyone else is doing. think i'll go find out. peace out.
