Yes, I'm a furry. Been a fan for a few years now, but attending a distant con' makes it more official. Next thing you know I'll be dancing around in a several-grand suit and bending your ear about my spirit guide. But for now I just buzzed down to Seattle for four days of furry fun.
I had previously arranged to share (Whales off the ferry!) a hotel room with Roicy Razerclaw, Bazz, and Fallout. I knew of these guys from the forums and it was good to put faces on these names. Also attended panels, wallflowered the dance, badly broke my no-hardcopy resolution, and soaked up the scene. Also did some touristy stuff in Seattle.
Rain on this last day, so I am just going back to Victoria. Made the Coho ferry from Port Angels literally at the last minute, and am staying at the excellent Surf motel.
I wish I had been more social and met all the Edmonton contingent, but I am just that shy. Plenty of time to do that back home.
