Sing Me a Lullaby

Oooh, so sleepy. I was up far too late last night, registering for classes and working out my November budget. Hooray for trying to live on $350 a month when rent is $289! Good thing I have some savings. I'm going to have to get a really intense job over the summer.

NaNoWriMo is going well. I'm about half a day behind, but that's okay, because I'm going to get at least a day ahead this weekend, maybe two. The novel is being quite nice to me this year, surprisingly; I keep thinking of things that I actually want to write about, and my characters are a very sweet pair of girls whose interactions I'm enjoying.

I should be studying for a Brit Lit test right now, but what the heck. I don't feel like being responsible. Sometimes you have to just kick back and waste an hour on Facebook.

I'm sitting in the library at the moment. Gosh, I love this place. It's so huge and cozy at the same time. It makes me want to sit and read with a cup of cocoa in hand, except of course that's not allowed. A pity. Sometimes I do sneak in a Jamba in my backpack, though, which is some feat. I haven't had a Jamba in weeks--it's too expensive.

If I could buy anything in the world right now, I think it would be some real food. I keep eating like a college student, for some strange reason. Yesterday I had pizza, and all I could think was, Bliss! It's actually closer to real food than what I've been eating, which is mostly...granola bars. And cold cereal and toaster waffles. I do get a bit of fruit sometimes, but I don't know how I'm still alive. I should make a casserole tonight, or something, after I go grocery shopping.
