Making this a habit.
Yes, making the posting thing a habit. Nothing really new to report, though.
I had a WONDERFUL valentine's day. aside from a bitter text from jamie (my recent ex) calling me shady and a user, i had a wonderful time. I got flowers and a teddy bear from nate, cards from briggs and my mom, candy from white san, and internet goodies galore! i had lots of entries for my valentine's day contest, and i had text messages (positive ones) flowing in all day. At the end of the day, Jed took me out for drinks at the Ritz, and I had a nice, relaxing evening.
Sometimes, this holiday is really good for showing you how much your friends and family cares. I really needed that this year, and that's exactly what I got.
In case I haven't mentioned it yet, Capricon was a blast. Chris got nekkid in the art room, and Lara took pictures! They can be had on my facebook, but just because i'm a sadist:
haha... oh, the blackmail. I also saw a guy in a really REALLY cool manticore suit. It was beautifully done, and here's a pic:
I also came away with a really fun card game (Do YOU worship Cthulhu?), a cute little handmade dragon, a pair of really nice handmade wings (yeah, i'm a sucker for wings, i know), and a really cool book about Firefly and Serenity with a bunch of essays on different aspects of the show.
I also got to see Dustin and Mike, who I haven't seen since Dustin's BirthdayCon forever ago, and i got to hang out with my friend Chris (the nekkid one above dressed in a flag).
All and all, it has been a good last weekend/week/val day/life. :)
