Mmmm...what a beautiful day. To wake up to the munchkins climbin' into bed with me and presenting me with my Father's Day gifts. And to boot...their gifts were all handmade! Anthony made a fold-out card with a touching letter contained therein...along with a collage of different stuff that we do together and it all came in a large manilla envelope that was decorated as well!! Then Sofia MADE A NEEDLEPOINT with a little girl teddy bear in a dress and an I LOVE YOU on it...her handmade card came with a little boy teddy bear with overalls...and a MATCHING I LOVE YOU!!! Then I'm thinkin' that my "combined" gift was thought out & finagled by my wifey...which was one of the candles that are being made by our Church...which has the Crucifixion, the Bridegroom, and the Resurrection...it's beautiful. Just think...this was BEFORE Church!
Anthony then asked if he could serve behind the altar...so we got to be together during the whole service and then afterwards we enjoyed a Post-Liturgy lunch @ Cancun Mexican restaurant. Finally we relaxed most of the afternoon...and had such a magnificent dinner with some Sushi and a TWO POUND LOBSTER!!! YUM!!!
Bottom line is that being a Dad is without question one of the greatest gifts I've ever received.
