Night out...
For those of you who are married with children...I am sure that you can all appreciate this. Di & I have an entire night & day out...without the children or the pup! Anthony & Sofia are over @ a friend's house sleeping over. The night so far has consisted of a wonderful Japanese Teppan meal (vegetarian no doubt...it being Friday & all). We then scurried over to TJ Maxx to see if I can outfit myself with as many pieces of black clothing...which will be the color (or neutral if we're being precise) of choice in my future vocation...for as little money as possible. Then to Target to grab some cheap treats so that we could head over to the $1.00 movie theater...which had the nerve to raise the price to $1.75 for the auspicious occasion of it being Friday night! :) We took in a goodhearted & fun flick called Sahara. It was pretty decent (once you suspend reality) if you appreciate it for what it is...and I happen to love Steve Zane so it was easy for me. And then for the cou'de gras (sorry for those who take French..I'm sure I butchered that little phrase) we have gotten a room in a nearby Hampton Inn so that we could go undisturbed by phone calls & sleep in without fighting with the sunrise and the morning doves that coo like crazy outside our window.
