The new Doctor Who MMO is being created by Three Rings, the folks who most famously brought you Puzzle Pirates, but also Bang!Howdy, and something called Corpse-Craft that I never played. In short, they're lightweight, mostly free-to-play, browser-based games. So I'm not expecting anything of Warcraft size and scope, although I could be wrong. Puzzle Pirates, in fact, has surprising depth if you know where to look for it, so I'm thinking it'll be a "looks casual, but doesn't have to be" sort of game.

At least, I'm hoping it's casual, because I'm already trying to figure out how I'm going to play both City of Heroes and Star Wars: The Old Republic when it comes out, without losing either my job or my family. I don't have time to get addicted to a Doctor Who game on top of that.

Three Rings is very fond of their 'Free-to-play but pay-for-more' business model.

Sadness personified. The musical mashup of HP etc has been removed by the user. Your argument link is invalid.

This is made up for by the fact that the Hipster Disney link is übercööl!

Please say that you're going to a mini arch with the guys playing Zombie Nerf Invasion! We had a lot of fun putting on Eaten Alive, and the guys would love to see your take on the game itself.

If I recall correctly (and it's very possible I do not, its been a very long time since I saw the Flash Gordon movie), Klytus is at one point near the opening telling him about Earth and refers to it as a world ". . . the inhabitants call Earth. . . "

Therefore the button is more "Earth Quake" as an evil poke at the inhabitants than the actual term earthquake.
Does sound more sinister that way. I like it.
Wait, did we just justify something in a campy movie?

Well, it could just be that we're reading the 'Mongol-ese' word that means 'Make the ground shake'.
