I thought that you would like this, Timelines: Time travel in popular film and tv.

I need that on a ceiling somewhere in my house! Along with that "rules for time travelers" poster I keep seeing.

I have to agree on the new theme. It just lacks the raw *oomph*. Its like handing the bass player of a band a ukelele - sure, the notes are there, and he might make it sound good.. but it's really not gonna be the same.

Also: I miss Les Nesman.. If I ever get an office job, I'm totally laying down some tape on the floor. Even if it has walls.

I also didn't know the TARDIS console was a Sonic Screwdriver dispenser, too.

But yeah, that memory-vision thing looked like they just had someone walking around with a video camera in an attempt to pull off a Matrix-like "360" shot, but instead got a bad stop-motion result. Again, I really, really hope that's a one-off and not something that's going to become a signature shot for each episode.

I think the theme is tied to this seasons 'Bad Wolf', given the state of the Time Vortex in the intro credits. And I'm quite liking the 11th so far. The moment he called the aliens back and made it clear that Earth was defended was quite good. I had a huge grin on my face as it showed his predecessors, ending with him stepping through Tens image.
