You know that Jordan trip I applied for and was very excited about and thought I had good chances to be selected for?
They lost my goddamn application. Somehow it's just...gone. Now they've already selected the 20 people to go, and obviously I'm not on the list. I paid the application fee and got the confirmation and everything, but somehow... They're looking into it to see what they can do, and if I was someone she would have selected maybe they'll add an extra person, or put me at the top of the waiting list or something. This really sucks...
Saw the evil dentist again this morning and he was not exactly apologetic for the possible 2.5 month waiting time, but he did seem to be trying to say that he'd make sure to see me much sooner than that if I get treated with him.
Unfortunately even though it was OVER 2 weeks ago, my x-rays hadn't arrived yet. Maybe the insane amount of money they charged me wasn't enough?? So he has to confirm them, then I get a whole new set of dental appliances. Whee fun. Hopefully they will actually fix something, especially since he's charging a whole lot of money.
Going to the symphony tonight with Dave and my family, so that should hopefully improve this day a bit. Dave and I saw the Blue Man Group last night which was TONS of fun!! (thanks again, Brian!)
Next week is reading week...feel free to call/e-mail me if you want to get together.
