ooc: Who is Madelyne Pryor?
Madelyne is, in a sense, Jean. In the same way, for those who are familiar, that John Smith is the Doctor in Human Nature. Madelyne is Jean as a normal girl. A rewritten life. A new start. Not the clone who turns evil, of canon Madelyne. Because that arc has so much retconning it hurts.
The rest of Jean, the Phoenix side of her, that retains her memories and consciousness and powers, is in the "White Hot Room".
It was the ascended White Phoenix who resurrected her physical form and recreated this new self, to continue living.
Until, and if, the time comes that Jean must return.
(And lets be real, that's pretty inevitable. Hopefully for a more worthy cause than evil alien scarecrows.)
