It's been tornado after tornado after tornado around here. Kind of sick of it. And to top it off, Westboro Baptist Church is heading out here to revel in the destruction of Joplin. God I wish they would go away.
That's my new roommate
That's my new roommate. I've had her since Maxwell died. She just kept showing up. And so I kept her. At first it was for a class project for the kids at work. I was going to let her go after that. But then all the data I read on how to keep her told me that basically if I let her go, she'd be dead within a few months. Toads last about a year in the wild, if they're lucky. Can last much longer than that otherwise. The oldest toad on record was 36 when it died, and it only died because it was accidentally killed. Took that picture today when she was helping me put laundry away. Pretty sure I'm calling her Gertrude.
Women in Boxes was a good documentary. Very light hearted and a good look at the other side of magic.
Gotta go get my paycheck tomorrow. Going to try to say goodbye to my kids, too. I have a feeling they may try to stop me though. God, they suck.
