Shopping Spree and Remembering Mother

"Just how the hell do you know what to do with all this?" Gilbert asked, looking at the racks of bras with utter confusion on her face.

Matthew chuckled as he looked for the right size for 'Gillian,' as they had decided to call her. "I had to do the same thing, as did Alfred. I'll have to show you pictures of us when we were girls."

Gillian snickered at that. "That must've been hilarious."

"Oh, it was, especially since Ally had D-cups and had no idea what to do." He grinned as Gillian cackled at the thought. "Alright, go try this on." He handed the silverette a bra that was size 36B.

Gillian took it and looked at it for a moment before going into the dressing room. After a few moments she called back out, "How the hell do you put this freaking thing on?"

Matthew chuckled as he slipped into the room to help the hapless albino. "Here, hang on--what on earth did you do, eh?"

"Oh, shut up and get me out of this friggin' thing," Gillian grumbled, having tried to pull the bra over her head and gotten stuck in the process. She was feeling very un-awesome, and it showed in her angry pout.

The Canadian hid his smile as he got Gillian out of her predicament. "Well, you first have to unclip the bra." He showed her how to put the undergarment on and how to adjust the straps.

Gillian looked at herself in the mirror. "You know, I make a pretty damn awesome girl," she said with a grin, posing theatrically in the mirror.

Matthew couldn't help but laugh. "Yes, you do. Now, are you done admiring yourself?"

Gillian pouted but pulled her shirt on. The rest of the day was spent with Matthew attempting to teach Gillian about the clothes that she had to wear. In the end he managed to convince her to get a few pairs of jeans, a skirt, a couple of business suits, shoes since her feet had changed shape a little, and plenty of undergarments--he felt that she went a bit overboard in that department. "Do you really need 12 lingerie sets?" Matthew asked, looking at the carriage in amusement.

"Duh, Mattie! I need lingerie that's awesome as me! Hey, look, this one has Gilbirds on it!" Gillian held up a set that was black with chicks patterned on it. "You like?"

Matthew merely shook his head in amusement. "Weren't you horrified about this originally?"

"Yeah, but I got over it quickly. So now I'm just gonna milk this for all it's worth!" She tossed the underwear set in the carriage before stating, "It's past lunchtime. Let's eat!" She then marched off toward the door before being pulled back so that she could wait while Matthew paid for everything.

By the end of the day the two were exhausted, and when they got home they both collapsed on the couch. "So, how long will I stay this way?"

"About 18 months, give or take a few weeks. After you give birth you'll stay female to breastfeed the child for about 6 months. Once the time for giving the child your immunities, you'll turn back into a male.

"I always thought that states and provinces just popped into being, like how most countries did."

"Actually, Alfred and I were birthed by North America. You remember her, right?"

"Oh, yeah. I thought she was just your adoptive mom." Gillian remembered the first time they met.

"I'll get it, Birdie!" Gilbert slid down the oak wood floor and opened the door. '"Can I help you?"

The person standing in front of him was a beautiful woman who looked to be in her mid-30s. She had long black hair pulled back into a braid, bright brown eyes, and wore a pair of blue jeans and a black t-shirt with a wolf on it. She was also tan, giving Gilbert the impression that she was Native American. She smiled at the albino kindly. "Yes, is Matthew home?"

"Yeah, come on in." He let the woman into the modest house and held out his hand. "I'm Gilbert Beilschmidt, the awesome," he said with a grin.

She returned the handshake and smile. "I am Nituna. It's nice to meet you."

"Mom!" Matthew quickly moved from the kitchen entryway to where Nituna was standing, giving her a big hug. "How've you been?"

"Fine, fine," she replied, returning the hug to her taller son. "I was visiting your brothers and sisters down south. They say hi, by the way," she added.

Gilbert looked back and forth between the two. "You're his mom?" he asked.

Nituna giggled a little. "I'm also known as North America. What country are you?"

Gilbert was a little startled but quickly brushed it off. "I'm the Kingdom of Prussia!" He paused before adding, "Former. Now I'm East Germany."

"Ah, you're one of Europa's children. You're one of the troublemakers she's always talking about," she teased.

The albino blushed a little but laughed. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. Eh, no offense, but how are you Mattie's mom? Your faces have the same shape and the noses are a lot alike, but other than that it's like you're two completely different people."

Nituna's face turned sour. "Blame Europa's other children. Those damn Europeans changed my babies' looks due to their influence."

"Now, Mom, Papa isn't that bad," Matthew said quickly. "He didn't completely influence me."

Nituna sniffed in annoyance at the memories before saying stiffly, "You still looked cuter when you still had black hair."

"Hey, Birdie's just fine the way he is," Gilbert said hotly. "I think the blond suits him."

Nituna raised an eyebrow at Gilbert's sudden outburst. "Oh, you do?"

"Yes, I do," was the reply. "Mattie's awesome just the way he is."

The continent closely scrutinized the albino, waiting until he started to squirm before nodding in satisfaction. "Alright. Just don't hurt my baby, or else all my children will be after your hide."

"Mama!" Matthew exclaimed, blushing.

"What? I do love your blond hair, but I still miss the time when it shone like the raven on the wing."

"That's not it!"

"Oh, you're embarrassed that I threatened your boyfriend? Don't worry, I trust him. Somewhat," she added, giving Gilbert a look.

The albino was blushing a little, but he ignored the un-awesome feeling of warmth that had washed over his cheeks in favor of voicing his thoughts. "I'm just trying to figure out how you figured it out in the first place. We haven't even told anyone yet."

Nituna smiled, except this smile was kindly. "Very few people visit Mattie, and you look like you're rather at home here. Also, you reacted a lot like how Germania reacted when I criticized Roma's outfit once," she added.

"You met Grampa?" Gilbert asked with surprise.

"Oh, yes. Sweet man, although he's a little protective of Roma," she added with a giggle.

Gilbert sweatdropped. "Right..."

"I was just about to make pancakes," Matthew suddenly said. "Do you want to stay for a plate?"

Nituna's smile grew into a grin. "Of course I'd love to stay. If anything, I can thank that Frenchman for at least teaching you how to cook wonderfully."

"Mom!"

"Hey, Francis is a friend of mine--although thank God for Mattie taking after him instead of Arthur."

"Gilbert!"

"Hey, Gill?"

"Yeah, Birdie?"

"You're not upset anymore, are you?"

"Nah, I'm fine now. I'm just wondering about something."

"What's that?"

"How am I gonna fuck you without my five meters?"

Matthew's face turned red. "I'm sure we'll manage."

"I dunno...I'm still top!" Gillian quickly stated.

The Canadian chuckled and gave her a hug. "Yes, dear."

Second chapter done! I'm going to try and update once a week. At least writing this story takes up the extra time I have between college classes!

Thanks for reviewing everyone, and I'm definitely going with FrUK and RussiAmerica. Thanks for the input!

So...how many couples should have kids? There's GerIta, Spamano, Giripan, FrUK, RussAme, PruCan, and AusHun. If anyone else wants to see any other couples/which ones should have kids, please give me suggestions, they are greatly appreciated! Hugs for all! =D
