Please don't ask. It involves too much free time, alcohol, and access to the Disney channel. None of it is pretty.

I spy...
Anyone who was expecting a rational, coherent, or chronological account of my holiday so far...er. Sorry?

  • Seven [7] dogs in bags. What's up with that? Are they specially bred without legs, or what?
  • One thousand two hundred and twelve [1212] Wells Fargo branches. The museum, however, is excellent. And free.
  • One [1] totally hilarious disney channel movie premiere. High School Musical 2, anyone? Come on, own up, I know you watched it.
  • Six [6] types of cereal that I really want to try even though the additives will have me bouncing off walls. Apple Jacks have been voted delicious, albeit sweet enough to kill an ox.
  • Two [2] dogs vying for the title of World's Biggest Eyed And Cutest Dog Ever. (This has been an oddly dog-related holiday. There seem to be a lot of them around doing cute and/or ridiculous things.
  • One [1] crazy relic of the sixties. Her name is Sami Sunchild, and she ran the first hotel 'peace center' we stayed at. HILARIOUS.
  • One [1] excellent film. The Bourne Ultimatum is really, really good. If you liked the last two you'll love this one. More explosions, shaky-cam car chases and 33% extra Matt Damon's arms.
  • Three [3] amusing misadventures variously involving me, my younger brothers, the only slippy rock in the whole of Yosemite and some wasps.
  • Five million trillion billion squillion [&*^^!%] stars that are so amazingly clear out here. Also one [1] crick in my neck.
  • One [1] type of food I cannot believe I have been living without. Clam Chowder is AMAZING. Why did nobody tell me? And one [1] type of food that should not be eaten for breakfast the morning after. Cold Mexican? NO.

And a whole bunch of other stuff I can't remember right now because I (oh so cleverly, I thought) took pictures of stuff as memory aides, and then forgot to bring my camera charger. So until I buy a new battery I can't get my pictures off the damn thing, and my admittedly sieve-like memory is just not cutting it.

Dean, what's going on with tickets and Hairspray and whatnot? I'm probably supposed to be doing something, right? I am, aren't I? Oops.

Ooh, and has there been any new Dexter yet? And how goeth the latest Psych? And is there more SGA? Or SPN? (OH GOD I'M MISSING SO MUCH TV. *cries*)

Robin...I have a very wheedly favour to ask. Possibly. I have a friend who is planning to come up from Baltimore to see me while I'm in NYC, and I'm not sure yet where she's thinking about staying. But, if she doesn't have anywhere, could I perchance offer her your floor for a night? (30th-31st) She's very nice, I swear! Plus, gives great head massages! Feel free to tell me to get bent though, if you don't want even more random strangers than me crashing. (Forward much? Me, nooo. Er.) :D
