Strengths, Weaknesses, and Abilities
STRENGTHS
Intelligence and creativity: Sakura is well known for her intelligence and creativity in battle. She was top in her class (exam-wise) in the Academy and had consistently high scores on the written portion during her chunin exams. This showed in battle by way of creating unique jutsu and strategies to suit the situation. For example, the Sakura Blizzard Technique was created on the spur of the moment and involves the use of kunai tied with tags made from various dried plant material and gunpowder. These are then ignited with the use of another kunai with an exploding tag, essentially creating a mid-air shrapnel bomb.
Medical Knowledge: Sakura is a medical ninja trained under the most renowned doctor of her day, the Lady Tsunade. As such, Sakura has extensive knowledge of the body and various treatments for injury and poisons. She has been stated to be as talented as medical ninja with twice her experience and is one of the very rare ninja able to perform the poison extraction technique.
Politics: Since the Lady Tsunade was also the Hokage, the leader of Konoha, and the granddaughter of the village's very founder, Sakura wound up becoming heavily involved in politics as a result. Power structures were something she easily grasped as well as the art of manipulating people and spotting manipulation when needed.
Precise Chakra Control: A basic of any medical ninja's expertise is high level of control over their chakra. Since many of the jutsu used require an intimate knowledge of both one's own chakra flows and precision application of said chakra, they are all but impossible to perform without an kind of control.
WEAKNESSES
Emotional Involvement: Sakura has a tendency to get emotionally involved in her missions. Particularly ones involving Sasuke and Naruto. Both are very dear to her and she will not hesitate to do anything for either one. In short, Sakura has trouble fighting those she cares for.
Inability to heal self: One of the drawbacks of her various healing techniques is the fact she is unable to use them on herself since the point of them is to aid the patient's chakra in the healing process. Using them on oneself burns out her chakra too fast and can worsen her injuries.
Mortality: Despite her strength and skill, Sakura is human, with all the weaknesses of a human. Unlike her teammate Naruto, she has nothing special that allows her to heal at a faster rate than normal, rendering her vulnerable on the battlefield if she runs out of chakra to power her strength techniques.
Men: She doesn't understand them. At all. :|
ABILITIES
Mystical Palm Technique: An ability that gathers chakra into the palm of the hand and speeds up cell regeneration when that hand is applied to an injury. If the user has precise enough chakra control and enough knowledge of biology, it can be used to form a blade of chakra in the hand to perform surgery without cutting anything but that which needs to be cut internally. This blade-creation of the technique can be used to sever nerves, muscles, and chakra systems at the point of contact.
Poison Extraction Technique: An ability that uses chakra and a globe of water to pull poisons out from the very cells of the patient's body.
