The most amazing day ever.

Mar 03, 2007 23:57

I am actually still so spazzing about this.
We met everybody and it was incredible.
It kind of started badly, we didn't have a clue where we were going, or when... so the traditional msyspace train photo was taken.

Then the the tubeline we wanted was closed, so we got on a random bus to Kensington High Street so we could sit in the infamous Cafe Nero.

"Oh god, we can't use the bus, where the hell are we!?"

And then by one in a billion chance, Galen got on the bus. It was actually crazy. After texting him "R U ON DA BUS LOL?", we followed him off it in the assumption this must be the right place. We recognised us, eventually, we talked and then he ran off to PC World. And this was our reaction still ten minutes later. Scarily similar to the "Where are weee?" face. Yet even more unnattractive if at all possible.

Claire soaked up the glory.

And it was just a beautiful day in general.

And then we found the Nero :)

A joyous occasion.

Galen was in there -->

Next thing we know we were taking much busses and diverted tube trains in an attempt to get to Chiswick for Ollie and Mike. We actually got there, whcih was a victory in itself. Then we couldnt find the arts centre, and Mike's Mum picked us uppp and took us there. And we love her.

The drama class took a while to get into, everyone was nice but it was just like.. what am i DOING here!? And ended in Mike and Ollie being Trinny and Susannah. Mike has some serious sass.

Thennn we all went out. And Mike avoided the camera.

And Claire whored Ollie :)

And Mike.

And then we had Nando good times.

Miiiiiiike.

And then we went for a walk up the street and myspace'D it up again.

We attacked Mike.

Went to have a look at his house, which was gorgeous.

And then we went to the park to do nothing because thats what we do in Luton.

Severely scary picture of me and Claire in the park.

We left them at like six. Everybody was depressed.

And for some crazy, crazy, reason we decided to try and go back to Kensington for this "booze down" at David's. And after much confusion with tube trains,( most lines seem to be closed) we went to ask in a hotel lobby where the address we had was. They seemed so so helpful, they got out maps, gave us bus numbers etcetcetc, but it was utterly disasterous.

Forty five minutes of walking later in the cold and dark we were completely lost. There are so many roads with the same sort of name. We asked everybody. Nobody knew. We walked and walked and walked. And after many many many stressed phone conversations to David, who was extremely helpful and got google map up, and a drunk Galen, and about a billion more miles walking, and seriously, there was some walking, he came and met us. Armed with a baseball bat. And his house turned out to be exactly where we had started off about two hours ago. But all was now good.

The house is the most amazing thing I have ever been in. And I refuse to try to talk about it because i will not do it justice. It was serious gape worthy. And anyway we went in and i have never met such nice people. They were all so so so friendly and went to try and find us drinks and introduced themselves. Seeing it was the first time we'd even met David,it all just went great. And nobody seemed too weirded out about the whole thing as to why we knew them. So it was David, Galen, Alex, Ben and Roshan. It is so weird mooching around with people you've only ever seen photos of/not at all. Especially in that house.

When we went in Galen was already drunk and on the floor, as demonstrated in this oh so attractive picture.

Then we found the infamous monkey :) Basically it appears in every photo of them all ever.

And Alex, who was actually amazing, gave us a tour o' the house. Which again i cannot even begin to explain. Dodgy digital camera photosss.

And David danced. Again, flattering.

Ben and Roshan (drunkkk).. sitting.

Ben juggled.

The legend that is Galen.

David + Monkey

Ben :)

Galen kept giving everybody change.

And biting my shoe..

But we had to go then, sadly, and Alex came back with us on the bus. Which took foreverrr. And he had many phonecalls and we had many DIDTHATACTUALLYJUSTHAPPEN moments. And then we got off at Tottenham Court Road and took this final dodgy picture of us all.

THE END
