Criminal Minds season premiere today. Honestly, I'll admit I was kind of confused at first because I actually never finished catching up to the end of season 5 (I was like three episodes away from it), but this episode was still brilliant, as usual.
BUT REID'S HAIR. Goddammit. helelcoolj was complaining about it last time we went to Chinatown together, so I wasn't expecting anything good, but that was...unexpected. I don't hate it, but MGG definitely looks better with longer hair.
Oh well, at least it's not the stupid glasses from S2. XD
Ellie is a badass. I want to see more of her. I was kind of confused by the end of the episode, though. I wanted Morgan to adopt her after her aunt died, and feel like I was misinterpreting that last scene where he's holding Ellie as she cried.
More serious stuff, though.
When JJ started on her rant about mothers, I almost started crying. That's something that's always affected me no matter what. Whenever mothers are doing motherly things, I tense up and have to fight back tears. My mom was in the room during that scene, and I think she started crying, too.
...I would say more, but then it would feel like I'm relinquishing my "emotional capacity of a teaspoon" badge. (Yes, my friends have actually told me that they think I have the emotional capacity of a teaspoon. XD)
In summary: This is what a season premiere should be.
