So, I carpool with three freshmen to school every day. I learned today with no fanfare that they're all slash fangirls. It was quite possibly the most awkward car ride I've ever been in.
They were fangirling over cassandraclare's series and I was just facepalming (mentally) through the entire thing. (Let it be known through the land that I don't really like her writing.)
Apparently all three of them have the canon gay couple as their OTP and were really RAGE over the fact that one of them was actually bisexual. No, really.
Freshman #1: So like, that other series? It's like a prequel to this series and Magnus liked this chick and I was just like really? But isn't he gay? I asked ___ about it and she was like yeah, he's bi.
Freshman #2: BUT THAT TOTALLY RUINS IT, DOESN'T IT??? He belongs with Alex!!
Freshman #3: IKR
Repeat ad nauseum for fifteen minutes. I wasn't listening to my iPod for once today, and the radio wasn't on, so I got it in full. And my inner fangirl was sobbing at the end. When we finally arrived at school, I scrambled out of the car as quickly as possible.
I'M ALL FOR SLASH, GUYS, BUT REALLY? REALLY??

I'm severely frustrated with my overbearing Asian uncle today, so this was like. Amazing when I loaded up my f-list. I went from ANGRY MAD FACE RAGE RAGE to STUPID GRIN in roughly two minutes flat.
Especially with Misha's twitter spam today. Good God.

I want to make a Misha tag on my LJ and redeeming my share of rhino but that would mean admitting my massive fangirl crush on him. So, uh, no. -TOTALLY NOT SUSPICIOUS COUGH- Christ, man, what would I have done if he actually was coming to SF Con like originally planned?
ALSO I DON'T KNOW IF I ACTUALLY WANT TO GO INTO A SUPERMARKET AND BUY THAT TV GUIDE...IT WOULD BE SUPREMELY AWKWARD...

If ya'll couldn't tell by now, I am kind of really hyper because I just had my first brush with chocolate-covered coffee beans. They were delicious and glorious and amazing. And I have no idea how much caffeine was in them because it wasn't labeled in the nutrition facts. I SHALL USE THIS ENERGY TO...

It's actually gotten to the point where my friends have made tumblr-related macros to it.
And I realize I don't have my "sasuga takemoto-sensei" tag on this account. I must remedy this.
