YAY! I'm extremely pleased that you liked it, because your prompt made me quite happy indeed. I've always wanted to write something about stargazing. :)

oh... this is lovely. So cute at the beginning, and heartbreaking at the end.... I love the use of bare conversation, it's immediate and far away somehow at the same time. ♥

Oh, I'm so glad you liked the conversation bits: I lack all confidence when it comes to dialogue, so sometimes I force myself to use nothing but. Because it builds character, or something. :P So I'm really pleased that worked for you.

(And I apologize for any emotional whiplash I may have inflicted: I swear I didn't intend this to get all angsty. Then SEASON 3.)

It totally worked.

(And don't worry. I eat angst up with a spoon. ♥ )

I'm so glad you liked it (and that you thought it was in-character)! Writing sibling snark makes me very happy.

! Happy funny bantery summery grassy times and then BAM. That myth, and its parallels with S3!boys. So sad, and so pretty. Spills of stars, glittery dust, gold-leaf books, verge-of-tetanus Deeean.

That myth came out of NOWHERE - I had nothing of the sort planned, so the parallels were totally serendipitous. I was trying to find some way to wrap the thing up, and then all of a sudden I remembered about Castor and Pollux and said, "What devilment is this?"

Maaaaaan I love summer. And stars. And books with gold leaf. Basically, I took this fic as an opportunity to mash together all the things I love and then dunk them in S3 sadness.
