On this week’s Vinyl Café episode the Story Exchange tale has an AU Fraser in it. No, really. You’ll know him when you hear it. There’s no mistaking him.
I was considering the comics - I should check if they're in our library. It's tricky, I usually find that whatever I come to first (tv series, movie, book, radio series) I like better than any other incarnations.
A lot of the appearance of the tv series looks very graphic novel-ish to my untrained eye. I'm interested that Rick and Lori are a stronger couple in the comics. I could do with a little less angsting over the children, too. Actually, I kind of want to take a bunch of them aside and give them a good talking-to about practicalities and logistics, which might not go down so well, but still...
I'm a big ol' fan of Daryl's now, not least because he provides some much-needed amusement from time to time. I was a little disappointed with what they did with Andrea, who did seem pretty BAMF on first meeting, but has spiraled into something else entirely now (I'm a few eps into season 2). I am on the whole impressed with the female characters, which is nice.
I've downloaded all of S2 and just can't wait to get into them. Possibly not ideal family Christmas viewing...
